DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

As a shuttle driver your day is not fully comprised of driving, and as so you are expected to assist the team with duties at the hotel while not operating the shuttle. The tasks are simple to perform and complete. The job has basic skills and requirements like the ones listed at the bottom of this post.

Responsibilities for Shuttle Driver

• Perform daily a inspection of shuttle to ensure proper working order
• Report any damages or issues with the shuttle
• Provide shuttle service for hotel employees and guests during scheduled times
• Greet and welcome all patrons of the shuttle service by opening the door for them
• Provide a safe and comfortable ride for patrons of the shuttle
• Give a proper salutation while opening the door for patrons of the shuttle

Qualifications for Shuttle Driver

• Proven safe driver and clean driving records is essential
• Ability to communicate professionally
• Customer service experience and friendly demeanor
• Ability to work in a standing position for hours at a time
• Accountability and personal integrity are essential as the nature of the position allows access to a client's personal and private information
• Ability to multitask and tend to several customers at once
• Must have a "Class-B" license

Responsibilities for Valet

• Greet and welcome guest to the establishment and offer professional valet services
• Accommodate guests by opening doors and assisting with luggage or other heavy items
• Direct traffic in the parking area as needed and assist guests in entering and leaving the parking lot
• Answer guests' questions regarding local attractions, hotel amenities and other available services
• Collect and accurately label keys belonging to guests to ensure their proper return
• Park guests' vehicles in predetermined areas within the parking lot, following all traffic laws
• Operate vehicles safely and responsibility
• Organize and file paperwork regarding guests' vehicles and daily transactions

Qualifications for Valet

• Proven safe driver and clean driving records is essential
• Valid personal car insurance is required
• Ability to communicate professionally
• Customer service experience and friendly demeanor
• Ability to work in a standing position for hours at a time
• Accountability and personal integrity are essential as the nature of the position allows access to a client's personal and private information
• Ability to multitask and tend to several customers at once
• Experience driving vehicles with both manual and automatic transmission
• Organizational skills are necessary to quickly recall the location of vehicles and their appropriate keys

Responsibilities for Bellman

The bell person is primarily responsible for welcoming all guests to the hotel as well as bidding them farewell. The bell person is escorting guests to and from their accommodations, orienting them with the features of the property and their accommodations, assisting the guest in any way to make them feel more comfortable in accordance with the Forbes Standards of Excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet all guests in the lobby in a warm and professional manner, make them feel welcome and anticipate their needs before they arise
• Recognize all returning and VIP guests, and welcome them back
• Escort all guests checking in to their accommodations following hotel procedure. Inform them about all hotel and guest room features, hotel facilities, and emergency procedures
• Assist guests with their luggage and acknowledge them by name
• Make deliveries to guest rooms as instructed
• Store and retrieve luggage and other objects for guests
• Successfully fulfilling all assigned responsibilities.

Requirements

• Proficient in English
• Ability to stand on your feet for several hours
• High School diploma
• Previous guest service
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Class-B license
