Position Overview
As an Automotive Technician, you will perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across various vehicle systems while maintaining high-quality workmanship and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools
- Repair and service powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and other mechanical systems with accuracy and efficiency
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines to complete repairs
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and multi-point inspections
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot complex issues, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and electrical systems
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer standards and safety regulations
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair needs and recommended maintenance
Qualifications & Experience
- Prior experience in most makes highly preferred
- Strong background in automotive diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and schematic interpretation
- Experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignments, and transmission repair
- Proven mechanical expertise in diesel engine repair and powertrain servicing
- Familiarity with auto estimating software and customer interaction
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment
- Specialized experience in automotive electrical systems, transmissions, or diesel engines is highly valued
