Senior Communications Manager (hybrid)

Safebox LLC provides strategic IT leadership, robust security, and operational excellence tailored specifically for mid-market enterprises. We are seeking a Senior Communications Manager (hybrid) to work with the communications team for our technology client.

What you’ll do:

• Drive proactive product communications initiatives, including communication and connection features, subscription offerings, safety and family products
• Client-specific location-sharing experiences, and consumer AI innovations that reinforce the client’s role in helping people connect and communicate.
• Develop and execute storytelling programs that highlight how products deepen real-world relationships, empower self-expression, enhance user safety, and introduce innovative AI-powered experiences for the global community.
• Pitch stories across technology, mainstream, consumer, and business press to support key announcements and ongoing product momentum.
• Draft clear, compelling communications materials including, newsroom posts, messaging documents, reactive talking points, etc.that communicate product updates and milestones.
• Organize press briefings and demonstrations, and prepare spokespeople for media interviews and speaking engagements.
• Collaborate closely with cross functional partners (product, design, marketing, legal, policy, partnerships, etc.) on coordinated campaigns, events, and product launches.
• Partner with agency teams to support media strategy and execution.
• Work across the Communications team to measure impact, track coverage, and refine strategies based on performance and insights.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent relationships with reporters across mainstream, technology, consumer, business, and hardware beats, including the ability to shape and manage complex platform and product stories.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to build relationships cross-functionally and manage a wide variety of partners
• An eloquent verbal communicator with superb written skills and fastidious attention to detail.
• Demonstrated experience supporting consumer technology product/feature launches.
• Experience supporting communication and connection platforms, subscription products, safety initiatives, location-based experiences, or consumer-facing AI products is highly desirable.
• Experience partnering with global teams to support coordinated communications efforts.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience.
• 8 years of professional experience working in a product communications role or related field.

Pay: $65.00 - $71.50 per hour
