What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAFE-T Thrift Store Receiving Associate position at SAFE-T?
SAFE-T is seeking a reliable and experienced Receiving Associate to join our team at the Thrift Sore:
Job Duties:
- Unloading Donations: Receiving donations at back of store and unloading donations from SAFE-T's Dually Truck and Trailer.
- Inspecting Donations: Check incoming donations for damage, defects, or missing items.
- Organizing Donations: Sort donations and move them to designated storage shelves, racks, or the correct section for stocking.
- Maintaining Safety: Keep the unloading area and receiving area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service during pick-up of donations by minimizing disruption to the Customer's space, by keeping work areas tidy and protecting flooring, walls, and landscaping, and while working at the Thrift Store.
- Day to Day Duties:
- Work at the Thrift store in receiving when not picking up donations.
- Familiarity with Thrift Store operations and procedures.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
