What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tow Truck Driver / Operator position at Safe Sprint Towing?
We're a growing towing company serving Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, and Queen Creek looking for a reliable, professional tow truck driver to join our team.
What You'll Do:
• Operate a rollback/flatbed tow truck for roadside assistance, motor club calls, vehicle transport, and recovery services
• Respond to dispatch calls promptly and provide excellent customer service to stranded motorists
• Safely load, secure, and transport vehicles following proper procedures
• Perform basic roadside services: jump starts, tire changes, lockouts, fuel delivery
• Complete digital documentation for each service call via dispatch apps
• Maintain the truck's appearance, cleanliness, and report any mechanical issues
• Represent Safe Sprint Towing professionally at all times
Requirements:
• Valid Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
• Must be at least 21 years old (insurance requirement)
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in Arizona heat
• Comfortable using a smartphone for dispatch apps and GPS navigation
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a professional appearance
• Available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred (Not Required):
• Prior tow truck driving or flatbed experience
• Knowledge of vehicle mechanics and load securement
