What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overnight Caregivers position at Safe and Sound Home Care?
This position is for private duty caregivers who can work OVERNIGHT shifts in the Oxford, MS area. Safe and Sound Home Care is a family-owned business dedicated to helping the elderly and disabled live safely and independently at home. Our professional caregivers work one-on-one to assist clients with a variety of duties, including personal hygiene care, great companionship, safety and mobility, meals, nutrition, medication compliance, and much more. We are looking for dedicated, energetic, ethical caregivers to join our team!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Be reliable! Show up on time and with a positive attitude, ready to help!
Provide assistance with the tasks described in each person's customized care plan! All care plans are written to promote the safety and independence of the families we serve. These tasks might include help with personal hygiene assistance, safety and mobility, medication compliance, transportation and more!
Perform housekeeping duties as needed.
Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with meal, includig serving and other tasks if neccessary
QUALIFICATIONS
Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve in continuously learn new skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
Willingness to enforce safety standards
High school diplmoma or equivalent/experience as a Caregiver.
