Safe Recovery is currently seeking a highly experienced Recovery Repossession Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in vehicle recovery, with a proven track record of successful, safe, and legal repossessions. You will be responsible for locating and securing vehicles, while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle repossessions in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Utilize license plate recognition (LPR) systems, skip tracing, and investigative techniques to locate assets.
- Operate a tow truck or self-loader to safely recover assigned vehicles.
- Document all recovery activities thoroughly and accurately in company systems.
- Interact professionally with vehicle owners and law enforcement when necessary.
- Maintain and inspect equipment regularly for optimal performance and safety.
- Work independently in a fast-paced and often unpredictable environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a repossession or recovery agent.
- Valid driver's license with clean MVR.
- Current or ability to obtain DOT medical card.
- Strong knowledge of applicable repossession laws and regulations.
- Experience with LPR systems and GPS tracking technology preferred.
- Excellent judgment, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
