Since our start in 2023, we’ve been dedicated to providing top-tier, automated cooking oil delivery and waste oil collection services. As we continue to grow across South Carolina (and soon beyond), we’re looking for dependable, customer-focused Delivery Drivers to join our team and help us keep restaurants stocked with fresh oil and safely haul away used oil for recycling into biodiesel.

Position Overview

As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of Safe Oil Solutions for our customers. You’ll operate a non-CDL box truck to deliver fresh cooking oil and collect waste oil from restaurant partners. This role is full-time (30 hours per week), with scheduling that flexes to meet customer needs. In return, you’ll enjoy a consistent weekly schedule (flexible days you need them!), and play a critical role in our mission to make foodservice more sustainable.

Key Responsibilities

• Oil Deliveries: Safely drive a non-CDL box truck to customer locations and deliver fresh cooking oil according to schedule.
• Waste Oil Collection: Hook up and pump out waste cooking oil from customer tanks, ensuring proper handling and secure containment.
• Customer Service: Greet restaurant staff, communicate clearly about service, answer basic questions about our processes, and leave each customer with a positive experience.
• Equipment Inspection & Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections; check hoses, pumps, and tanks for proper function; report any issues to operations.
• Route Management: Follow predetermined daily routes, manage time efficiently, and adapt to last-minute customer requests when needed.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all company safety protocols, DOT regulations, and local traffic laws; ensure that all oil handling and spill-prevention procedures are strictly followed.
• Record Keeping: Complete delivery and pickup logs accurately, record inventory changes, and report delivery exceptions or waste-oil volume discrepancies to dispatch.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License: Must hold a clean, valid driver’s license (Class D) with a satisfactory driving record. No CDL required.
• Experience Preferred: 1–2 years of commercial driving or delivery experience is a plus—especially in last-mile delivery, foodservice, or waste hauling.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs (oil containers, hoses) throughout the shift, climb ladders, and work in varying weather conditions.
• Customer-Focused Attitude: Strong communication skills and dedication to providing outstanding service; ability to represent Safe Oil professionally.
• Reliability & Punctuality: Must be able to follow a strict schedule, arrive on time, and complete all assigned routes each day.
• Basic Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable troubleshooting minor equipment issues (hoses, pumps) and reporting maintenance needs promptly.
• Safety Mindset: Commitment to following all safety procedures—especially when handling and transporting petroleum-based products.
