Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting riders while providing excellent customer service.

This role requires strong driving skills, attention to detail, compassion for others, and the ability to assist riders with various transportation needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate vans and other company vehicles to safely transport riders to and from scheduled appointments.
• Assist riders when loading and unloading at various locations, utilizing equipment such as wheelchair lifts and ramps as needed.
• Follow designated routes and schedules while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with riders, ensuring their needs are met in a professional and respectful manner.
• Maintain accurate records of each trip, including pickup and drop-off times, mileage, and required documentation.
• Complete internal and external reports as needed, including documentation of any issues encountered during transport.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards.
• Assist with daily vehicle upkeep, including fueling vehicles and taking them through the car wash using the company-provided account.
• Assist with logistical operations and other duties when not actively transporting riders.
• Rotate through early morning or late evening shifts approximately twice per month as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

• A genuine desire to help others and provide quality service.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate positively with riders, team members, and community partners.
• Previous transportation or delivery experience is preferred and can help with understanding scheduling, routes, and logistics.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required.
• Experience driving larger vehicles or vans is preferred.
• Ability to safely assist riders and perform lifting or moving tasks required by the position.
• Familiarity with transportation services, courier operations, or logistics processes is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures accurately.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
