Job Type: Full-time, salaried
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with rotating on-call responsibilities
Benefits: Three weeks of combined vacation and sick leave annually, plus paid holidays
Position Summary:
Safe Haven is seeking a dependable and organized Program and Residence Departmental Head to oversee the daily operations of our residential program. This position reports to the Program and Residence Director and directly supervises the residential administrator and service coordinator while providing leadership and support to all residence staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate resident phase planning, agency notifications, documentation, and service transitions.
- Conduct weekly financial-accountability meetings with residents, including budgeting, savings, employment verification, and reconciliation.
- Monitor program compliance, complete residence walkthroughs, maintain daily rosters, and enter resident information into Airtable.
- Address resident disciplinary matters and complete required incident, violation, and sanction documentation.
- Manage food inventory, residence orders, and pickup coordination.
- Supervise staff, enforce policies, and provide performance feedback.
- Participate in staffings, trainings, events, and community meetings.
- Follow up on maintenance requests and other operational needs.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and responds to urgent medical, transportation, visitation, or disciplinary situations after hours.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Basic accounting and office-management abilities.
- Ability to complete legal and program documentation accurately.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with residents, staff, and outside agencies.
- Commitment to leading by example, pursuing God, attending church, and supporting Safe Haven’s policies and mission.
- Willingness to learn and use systems including Airtable, Google Drive, GroupMe, Teamup Calendar, and GoodGrid.
Safe Haven is looking for a hands-on leader who can balance resident accountability, staff supervision, administrative accuracy, and effective crisis response.
Pay: From $34,000.00 per year
