Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Estates and Trusts Paralegal at our Syracuse, NY location. The paralegal will be responsible for preparing legal documents related to estate planning and trusts, conducting legal research, managing document reviews, and assisting attorneys with case management. Additional responsibilities may include client communication to provide updates, gather information, and ensure a seamless and personalized experience while supporting the overall workflow of the team.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in Law and familiarity with legal principles and practices
- Expertise in Legal Document Preparation, drafting, and organization
- Effective Communication skills, including client correspondence and team collaboration
- Proficiency in Research and Document Review for detailed and accurate case management
- Detail-oriented mindset and ability to manage multiple cases under deadlines
- Proficiency in legal software and technology is a plus
- Associate’s degree or Paralegal certification preferred
- Prior experience in estate planning or trusts is highly desirable
