What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver Weekends 7am-7pm position at Safe Harbor Residential Care Home?
Looking for every other weekend shift caregiver to care for residents in a woman only group home setting. Multiple locations. St. Louis Park.
Job Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing daily care to facility's residents. In addition to resident care, this individual is responsible for other clerical and organizational tasks. This individual must emit a positive image of the facility and must have a genuine interest for caring for others. The Certified Nursing Assistant must comply with facility's policies and procedures as well as state regulations. This individual must be highly organized, demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills, and enthusiasm.
The caregiver is responsible for carrying out the primary duties as outlined below. These essential functions include, but are not limited to:
Administer medication per medication treatment plan.
Assist with maintenance of resident’s records to include charting daily medications, recording daily intake, etc.
ADL assistance.
Housekeeping.
Meal preparation.
Comply with facility's policies and procedures and recommend changes as necessary.
Complete full orientation upon hire.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
CPR Certification
TB Test
Background Check (DHS)
18 years of age
Excellent written and verbal communication
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year of experience working in an Group Home
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
