Caregivers help clients live safely and comfortably at home by supporting daily activities such as:Bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, and personal hygieneMobility support: ambulation, transferring, and positioningIncontinence care and toileting assistanceReminders for self-administered medicationHousekeeping, laundry, meal planning, and preparationRunning errands, shopping, and providing transportationOffering companionship and emotional supportCaregivers ensure services are delivered with care, dignity, and respect while following agency policies, state regulations, and industry standards.Minimum Eligibility RequirementsQualifications include:• 18 years of age or older• Clearance Verified on the Home Care Aide Registry• Current Tuberculosis (TB) certificate• Valid I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification documents• Completed “Criminal Record Statement” (LIC 508)• Complete “Personnel Record” (LIC 501)• Complete “Statement Acknowledging Requirement to Report Suspected Abuse of Dependent Adults and Elders” (SOC 341A)• Minimum of five (5) hours entry-level training prior to presence with client(s).Key ResponsibilitiesAssist clients with activities of daily living and personal care, including but not limited to:Bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral careMobility support (walking, transfers, positioning, exercising)Incontinence care and toileting assistanceMeal planning, preparation, and feeding assistanceLight housekeeping and laundryMedication remindersProviding companionship and emotional supportMake a difference every day while building a rewarding career!Apply today and become part of our dedicated caregiving team in North County San Diego.Safe Harbor Home Care is a San Diego based, locally operated company that provides in-home care services.
