Responsibilities
- Provide emotional support to survivors during their time of crisis and navigation of resources.
- Assist survivors in preparing documents for resources such as housing, employment, medical and educational needs.
- Assist survivors with implementing plans and linking them to resources.
- Be familiar with community supports, resources and social service agencies.
- Documentation of services for client files.
- Crisis line coverage rotation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proof of vehicle insurance
- Access to vehicle during business hours
- Withhold to confidentiality
- Will need to complete a 40-hour domestic violence training at start of employment.
- Be familiar with the Illinois Domestic Violence Act
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 per year
