Position Summary
The Provider Relations Support Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality support and customer service to providers. In partnership with the Provider Relations Manager, Clinical Director, and other leaders, this role monitors provider performance metrics, conducts regular check-ins, and identifies opportunities for improvement.
This position supports provider success through training, schedule management, and cross-department collaboration. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong critical thinking, effective and compassionate communication, and professionalism when working with both internal and external stakeholders.
Position Responsibilities
1. Provider Performance & Metrics
- Monitor provider lead and lag measures in collaboration with leadership.
- Conduct regular meetings to review and communicate performance metrics.
- Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Communicate changes in provider status to appropriate teams.
2. Provider Support & Issue Resolution
- Provide day-to-day support including scheduling, EHR, and access issues.
- Collaborate with billing, scheduling, and other departments to resolve concerns.
- Ensure timely resolution of support requests and escalate as needed.
3. Training & Development
- Provide training on systems, workflows, and best practices.
- Identify knowledge gaps and deliver additional training as needed.
- Support providers through coaching and follow-up.
4. Scheduling & Operational Support
- Manage provider schedules to optimize access and performance.
- Assist with site setup, access, and operational needs.
- Ensure scheduling aligns with organizational goals.
5. Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with leadership to support departmental and organizational goals.
- Maintain clear, professional, and compassionate communication.
- Follow established communication and escalation protocols.
6. Other Duties
- Perform additional related duties as assigned to support the Provider Relations Department.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred in healthcare or business-related field. High School diploma required.
Experience
Experience working in mental healthcare required. 1-2 years’ experience developing, organizing, implementing, and managing programs and services.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
