This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to support young learners during critical hours of the day, helping them develop essential skills while having fun.
Responsibilities
- Supervise children during before-school and after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Implement structured activities that promote childhood development, including arts and crafts, sports, games, and educational projects
- Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management techniques and positive reinforcement strategies
- Assist with homework help
- Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to safety standards and program guidelines
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, or babysitting is highly desirable
- Certifications in first aid and CPR are preferred but not required; training can be provided upon hire
Qualifications
