THE ROLE
The Tile & Escrow Processing Manager will be responsible for leading our title processing team, managing a pipeline of real estate transactions, reviewing title searches, commitments, assisting team to reslove complicated title issues, and performing other administrative management functions of a local title insurance office.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Manages title processing and/or post-closing production teams, including oversight of key functions in the clearing title, closing prep, funding, recording, and other file key production processes
- Oversees all branch operational processes, identifying risk, developing and implementing process improvements, assisting staff, resolving problems, and ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained
- Ensures clear title by reviewing title search reports and ensuring all title defects have been resolved prior to close, and ensuring existing liens and encumbrances against property or principles are satisfied
- Coordinates closing schedule and conduct real estate settlements as needed
- Verifies receipts, balances files, and oversees disbursement processes
- Reconciles escrow account on a daily and monthly basis
- Applies extensive industry knowledge to develop procedures and controls to ensure organizational compliance with industry best-practices, regulatory guidelines, and underwriter requirements
- Creates and maintains business relationships with our realtor and lender partners
- Conducts real estate closing and processes complicated transaction files as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 6 Years Experience in the Title Insurance or related Industry
- 3 Years Experience in title and escrow file processing
- Lead production or management experience desired
- Ability to review title search documentation, verify requirements and exceptions on title commitments, and resolve issues to clear title.
- Experienced understanding of operational risks, regulatory requirements, and procedural controls
- Ability to manage production processes and motivate staff
- Proven ability to establish, develop and maintain strong and lasting business relationships.
- Aptitude for assessing need, solving problems, and efficiently multi-tasking to balance the competing needs of a multi-functional job.
- A motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to relate to a variety of people from varying backgrounds.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NOT REQUIRED FOR CONSIDEREATION):
- Licensed Notary Public and/or Remote Online Notary
- Licensed Title Agent
- Knowledgeable understanding of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Cloud Storage, or other business administration software applications
- Experience with Qualia title production
- Experience with Simplifile recording platform
- Experience with escrow accounting and account reconciliation process
- Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software
