Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will assist clients with daily activities, monitor their health, and provide companionship.
Duties:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide medication reminders and assist with prescribed exercises
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Monitor and record vital signs as directed by the healthcare team
- Support clients with mobility assistance and transfers
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients
Skills:
- Experience in medical documentation and familiarity with medical terminology
- Knowledge of hospice care principles and practices
- Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility needs
- Proficiency in caregiving techniques for senior care and assisted living environments
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining client confidentiality
- Prior experience in home care settings is beneficial
