Job Title: Procedure Writer (hybrid)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Procedures Writer to document the standard operating procedures for each department. The goal is to drive a mature procedure writing and the knowledge management capability.
Job Responsibilities:
- Help articulate the vision, strategy and plan for leading the process and procedure capability
- Develop, write, and maintain clear and concise procedural documentation, including step-by-step instructions, guidelines, and process flows
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously by estimating timeline, deliverables and resources
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) across departments to gather information and ensure accuracy of documented procedures
- Coordinate with project managers, business analysts, and product owners to develop requirements for future state technology design
- Manage the documentation lifecycle, including version control, archiving, and accessibility
- Help build and manage and maintain procedures documentation library
- Document and maintain written procedures, and processing manuals to ensure quality, accuracy and consistency.
- Partner with leaders to clearly define, document and create procedures for each group.
- Mentor other instructors in the subject matter, content, and course delivery techniques for assigned courses
- Continuously drive change management behavior through updated and consistent procedures review.
- Facilitate procedures training sessions when needed
- Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of and experience applying adult learning theory and evaluation tools
- 2 to 5 years of experience in procedures documentation,
- Computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Ability to translate complex business products and procedures into clear, concise micro learning
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Training, Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, Instructional Design or closely related area
- Experience working in a contact/call center environment
- Experience managing learning in an LMS
- Experience with content authorizing tools such as Camtasia, and the Adobe suite of products
- Automotive or insurance experience preferred
