SUMMARY:
Manages day-to-day operations of the CUSO dealership. The position is responsible for all aspects of daily operations, including sales, service, finance, marketing, and administration, while collaborating with the CUSO Board and other key stakeholders to achieve desired profitability targets.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required. Work experience may be substituted for college degreee in related field, plus a minimum of five (5) years’ experience of demonstrated successful progression within a comparable position. Experience within vehicle sales and service industry required. Requires the ability to lead and supervise all operations of a successful business model. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with others is essential.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyse, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, members, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics, and fundamentals of financial management. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations involved in service delivery functions and practices.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Ability to operate a personal computer, including a working knowledge of the following software:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following
- Achieves designated sales goals for vehicle sales and other products and services.
- Oversee all dealership functions including physical operations and security, sales and service, finance, marketing and ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Develops and implements business strategies to achieve sales targets, maximize profitability, and drive growth.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess performance and identify areas for improvement and increased profitability.
- Maintain a high standard of buyer satisfaction, addressing concerns promptly and ensuring an exceptional experience throughout the sales and service process.
- Manage inventory levels, digital presence, and online marketing platform to optimize product availability and minimize holding costs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, insurance requirements, dealership licensing, and other areas related to dealership operations.
- Prepare and present regular reports on dealership performance, budgets, and forecasts to CUSO Board of Directors
- Ensure vehicles remain presentable and market-ready for potential buyers. Includes management of detailing service, minor repairs, and other routine maintenance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, vendors, lenders, and other key stakeholders.
- Maintain acceptable driving record and active South Carolina Driver’s License.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of finance and back-end products available through lending partners.
- Represents the CUSO in a professional manner at internal and external public relation events, including participating in various business development activities.
- Treats potential customers with respect and maintains credit union values through honest business transactions.
