Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) based in McLean, VA. The CNA will be responsible for assisting clients with daily activities such as bathing, feeding, grooming, and mobility support. Additional responsibilities include monitoring patient health, reporting any changes or concerns, providing companionship, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients. The role requires individuals committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate, and patient-focused care for individuals in need.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, and feeding
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and their families
- Ability to monitor patient health and document changes accurately
- Knowledge of safety and emergency protocols in a caregiving setting
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to caregiving
- Current CNA certification in Virginia
- Experience in home care or healthcare is preferred
- CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus
- Dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team
