Position Summary
The Adult Day Services Program Manager oversees daily operations of the workshop/day program, ensuring quality service delivery, staff supervision, and compliance with all state and federal regulations. This role blends leadership, compliance, and direct support oversight to maintain a safe, engaging, and outcomes-driven environment for individuals served.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily program operations, ensuring a safe, structured, and engaging environment for all participants.
- Supervise and support direct care staff (DSPs, Job Coaches, Workshop Aides) including scheduling, training, and performance feedback.
- Coordinate participant schedules, community outings, and vocational activities aligned with each person's ISP and vocational goals.
- Ensure documentation accuracy, including attendance, progress notes, and incident reporting.
- Maintain compliance with all DODD, Medicaid, and company policies, including health, safety, and staffing requirements.
- Collaborate with SSA's, guardians, and interdisciplinary teams to support individual outcomes.
- Conduct regular safety and environmental inspections; lead corrective and preventive actions as needed.
- Assist with new referrals, intake coordination, and staff training for new admissions.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive program culture focused on empowerment and choice.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in developmental disabilities, behavioral health, or adult day/vocational services required.
- Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Education, or related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of DODD rules, OAC 5123, and ISP implementation.
- CPR/First Aid, Med Delegation, and MUI/UI training certifications.
