Testing and Troubleshooting Technician

Position OverviewWe are hiring a Testing and Troubleshooting Technician to test, diagnose, and validate our mission-critical and explosion-proof HVAC systems before shipment. This role ensures each unit operates safely and meets performance requirements.
What You’ll Do- Perform functional testing of HVAC units, including electrical, mechanical, and control systems
- Verify system performance against design specifications and operational requirements
- Execute start-up procedures and ensure all components are operating correctly
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and control system issues
- Troubleshoot PLC controls, wiring, and HVAC components to identify root causes
- Work with engineering and production to resolve defects and implement corrections
- Document test results, issues, and corrective actions clearly and accurately
- Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and field troubleshooting as needed
- 5 years of HVAC and electrical troubleshooting experience in an industrial or commercial environment
- Strong working knowledge of compressors, coils, fans, and controls
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and ability to read schematics
- Basic PLC troubleshooting experience preferred
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
