*This position includes traveling to our locations in Glen Cove, Manhasset, and Hartsdale (NY) as well as Norwalk and Stamford (CT). You must have a valid drivers license, vehicle, and be able to commute to locations as needed.* 

Responsibilities:

• Curate and monitor the entire lifecycle of the visual merchandising experience
• Understand and analyze the psyche of the customer to curate more effective merchandising
• Assess and gauge the effectiveness of a given visual merchandise and edit/tweak it as needed
• Keep track of the store inventory and make sure that the visual merchandising is displayed effectively
• Ensure a safe work environment and provide outstanding customer service as a visual merchandising specialist
• Monitor costs for a certain project and ensure that the visual merchandising stays within the proposed budgets
• Collaborate and coordinate with other professionals, be it the buyers, members of the marketing team, or retailers
• Install and set up the displays keeping in mind the visual styling trends that are prevalent in the market 
• Travel to various locations in New York and Connecticut

Qualifications: 

• 2 years of visual merchandise experience (Preferred)
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp or a 2D/3D layout program 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work as part of a team
• Deep understanding of luxury brands, fashion trends, and home styling techniques
• Ability to work 4 days a week in person
• Ability to start working within 2 weeks

Compensation:

• $20.00-$25.00/hour
