Duties
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of pools, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and netting debris to keep pools spotless and inviting
- Balance pool chemistry by testing water levels and adjusting chemical agents to ensure safe and healthy swimming conditions
- Identify issues with pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorination systems using hand tools and power tools
- Clean filters and salt cells
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport equipment and supplies between job sites while adhering to all safety protocols
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, chemical treatments, and equipment repairs for each assigned pool
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about maintenance schedules and addressing any concerns professionally
Requirements
- Prior experience working in pool maintenance is highly preferred but not required
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot pool equipment issues efficiently
- Familiarity with water treatment chemical handling and pool chemistry balancing procedures (preferred)
- Knowledge of pool plumbing systems and equipment repair techniques (preferred)
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and outdoor equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles in a safe manner
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions; physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
