Responsibilities
- Design and execute creative, developmentally appropriate lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
- Lead classroom activities that support childhood development milestones, including toddler care and preschool teaching strategies.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques.
- Communicate regularly with parents to share progress updates, address concerns, and foster collaborative relationships.
- Ensure classroom safety and hygiene standards are maintained in compliance with health regulations, including first aid and CPR protocols.
- Supervise assistant teachers and support staff to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality instruction.
- Implement early intervention strategies for children requiring additional support or special education services.
Position Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating strong classroom management skills.
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Must pass background check, state and federal
- CPR, First Aidm, and Mandatory Reporter certification, or willingness to obtain
- Ability to handle stressful situations and diffcult behaviors
- Experience in curriculum development with a focus on early childhood education principles.
