$18-$20/hour - based on level of experience
$1/hour shift premium for 2nd shift

The screw machine operator is responsible for operating a screw machine to produce high-precision metal parts used in various industries.
The job duties include:
- Machine setup: Setting up the machine by installing and adjusting the necessary tools, equipment, and fixtures for the production run.
- Material preparation: Loading and unloading raw materials into the machine and ensuring that they are properly aligned for machining.
- Quality control: Performing routine checks and measurements to ensure that the finished parts meet specifications and quality standards.
- Conducting routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubrication to keep the machine in good working order.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and addressing problems with the machine or the production process to minimize downtime and ensure quality.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate production records, including machine settings, production rates, and quality control data.
- Safety compliance: Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Required to occasionally lift 50 pounds and will frequently lift up to 25 pounds such as moving parts from material storage and moving parts in and out of work area.
