Job Responsibilities:

As a Technical Account Manager, you will actively guide some of Kinetic Vision’s largest customers through the process of leveraging advanced tools and technologies on their journey towards digital transformation, rapid prototyping, process optimization, and product sustainability. As the voice of the customer, you will work closely with multi-discipline service delivery teams helping to infuse the customer’s needs, pain points, and priorities within every solution that is brought to life. You will have a direct hand in the continued growth of your accounts by bringing your passion for technology and a “What’s Next” mentality to every project, constantly showing customers the new reality of how technology can accelerate innovation. 

  • Opportunity Development: Serve as the primary point of contact for new project opportunities within a book of existing accounts. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and technical solution owners to craft, estimate, and pitch tailored solutions and proposals for new project opportunities. 
  • Negotiation: Strategically negotiate pricing to align with sales strategy, ensuring value for both Kinetic Vision and the client while protecting the integrity of the services offered.
  • Relationship Management: Advocate for a book of customers, building solid relationships and understanding how Kinetic Vision’s capabilities can help achieve their business objectives. Build those relationships through regular check-ins to understand progress towards goals (active and upcoming projects), address questions or issues, and understand their strategic objectives. 
  • Account Growth: Develop account strategies in response to new project opportunities, QBRs, brainstorming innovation sessions, emerging technologies, and long-standing customer relationships to identify new opportunities for growth within an existing customer. 
  • Customer Education: Lead presentations on Kinetic Vision's capabilities to educate customers about our products and services, identifying new avenues to support their objectives.
  • Metrics: Maintain up-to-date account, customer, and opportunity data driving toward key performance metrics and growth targets. 
  • Mentorship: Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to peers and lower-level colleagues to help cultivate our early-career talent pipeline and team culture.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years in a technical customer success, solution delivery, project management, or customer-facing consulting role. OR equivalent experience. 
  • Proven experience in account management, preferably within technical consulting and serve as the primary point of contact for new project opportunities within a book of existing accounts.
  • Experience in conducting discovery meetings for new project opportunities to understand customer goals, pain points, and requirements. 
  • Documented experience in analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams to build unique customer solutions. 
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong presentation abilities and experience in client education as well as proven ability to share project proposals, handling objections and negotiations with respect to project scope and financials.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow client relationships.
  • Strategic thinking with an emphasis on service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Exposure to some of the following disciplines and technologies: 
    • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning 
    • Software development and scripting 
    • IoT and sensors 
    • Data science, data engineering 
    • Process optimization and automation 
    • Digital Twins, VR, AR, 3D models
    • Modeling and simulation 
    • Product design and development - Industrial Design, Mechanical design, prototyping, or CAD
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related field. We will also consider applicants with the equivalent combination of education, technical expertise, training, and work experience.
