Job Summary
Sadler Electric is seeking dependable, hardworking, and motivated construction laborers to join our growing team. In this role, you will support various phases of diverse electrical infrastructure projects, helping ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have construction experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Assist construction crews with a variety of construction roadways, and electrical infrastructure projects.
- Perform site preparation activities, including trenching, excavation, conduit installation, and reinforced concrete drilled shaft foundation construction.
- Assist with concrete placement, pouring, and finishing for foundations, sign structures, and other project components.
- Install overhead sign structures, highway and roadway signage, conduit systems, and other related infrastructure.
- Load, unload, transport, and organize tools, materials, equipment, and supplies at job sites.
- Safely operate hand tools and power tools
- Assist with pulling wire, installing conduit, and supporting crews as directed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently, professionally, and with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting, carrying, and positioning heavy materials and equipment safely.
- Participate in site cleanup, material handling, and organization to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
- Works effectively with a team and individually.
- Ability to work 40-60 hours per week based on project deadlines.
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and other environmental conditions.
- Proven experience in construction environments.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards, workplace safety regulations, and implementation of safety procedures.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance record.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
