Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Supervisor to lead our landscaping team in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of landscape maintenance, and hands-on experience in various landscaping disciplines. This role involves supervising crew members, managing projects, and ensuring high-quality work standards are met. The Landscape Supervisor will play a vital role in overseeing daily operations, coordinating tasks, and delivering exceptional results for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate landscaping crews to ensure efficient completion of projects
- Oversee landscape maintenance activities including lawn care, gardening, and horticulture tasks
- Manage construction projects such as installing hardscapes, irrigation systems, and planting beds
- Perform and oversee tree care operations including pruning, trimming, and removal
- Ensure safety protocols are followed on-site to maintain a safe working environment
- Maintain equipment and tools used for landscaping and construction tasks
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and suppliers to meet project specifications and deadlines
- Assist with hands-on landscaping tasks when necessary to support team efforts
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture
- Supervising or leadership experience within a landscaping or construction environment
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care, gardening techniques, and general landscape maintenance
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Ability to read blueprints and project plans is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Valid
license or relevant certifications preferred but not required - Commitment to safety standards and best practices in landscaping operations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.95 - $28.85 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
