Facilities Maintenance Technician

POSITION PURPOSE: Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all physical plant equipment, pools, spas and building structures within SaddleBrooke One.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Ability to perform minor repairs on HVAC equipment and systems.
 Maintain schedule of air handler coil cleaning, filter and belt replacement.
 Perform minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
 Perform building repairs, including but not limited to the following:
o Drywall and stucco repair and texturing, interior & exterior painting
o Adjustment and replacement of motors, minor roof repairs, carpentry
 Perform scheduled maintenance on department vehicles and shop equipment.
 Posses the knowledge and abilities to troubleshoot and repair pool equipment.
 Be on–call to address after hour and weekend emergencies.
 Be on–call for one month at a time.
 Practice safe working habits while completing assigned tasks/projects.
 Perform other reasonable duties as requested by the Department Supervisor.
 Ability to work different hours and schedules as they may change threw out the year.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
 Capable of working with minimal supervision.
 Universal EPA refrigeration certification preferred
 Mechanical, electrical and plumbing skills.
 Basic Mechanical, Electrical, plumbing, CMMS systems preferred
 Knowledge of safe and proper use of power tools and equipment.
 Capable of heavy lifting up to 75 lbs.
 Certified Pool Operator preferred
 Possession of a driver’s license in good standing with the State of Arizona and must be able to be covered under the Association’s auto policy.

WORKING CONDIITONS
 Position requires that the Facility Maintenance Technician work both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
