Job Summary
Job Summary
Under general supervision, this entry-level technical instructional assistant position assists in supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities, providing instructional support, personal care, behavior management, and social skills development; works with students individually and in small groups, following the teachers' instructions and individualized educational plans (IEPs); ensures student safety; assists with body-care needs; and handles any medical or behavioral issues that may arise. This position may involve one-on-one assignments with students who require intensive support.
Requirements / Qualifications
You may be interviewed by various schools but will only be hired to work at one school. MUST ATTACH PROOF OF: - Passing the CBEST, or - Having completed two years of college (48 units), or - An AA degree or higher, or - Must have passed the District proficiency exam in mathematics, reading, and writing prior to the job posting closing date, if you are using this for education requirements. -CPR/First Aid certification required, only in-person/blended classed accepted.
