Job Summary
Under general supervision this journey-level technical instruction assistant position is primarily responsible for providing support to students with the highest behavioral needs. The role focuses on implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies and other specialized strategies to promote student independence, compliance, and positive behavioral changes. The IA-IBI assists in both special education and general education classrooms, helping students with severe needs achieve their learning, safety, and daily functioning goals.
Requirements / Qualifications
MUST ATTACH PROOF OF: - Passing the CBEST, or - Having completed two years of college (48 units), or - An AA degree or higher, or - Must have passed the District proficiency exam in mathematics, reading, and writing prior to the job posting closing date.
