Position Summary
Performs three or more entry level position tasks including accurate, appropriate, cost effective, high quality assembly and distribution of food, operation of service equipment, and set up of patient, cafeteria, physicians lounge areas. Prepares enteral feeding for patients including infants. Cleaning and sanitation including ware washing.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job
1. Demonstrates ability to accurately receive and store requisitioned food and supplies.
2. Demonstrates the ability to follow standardized recipes according to HACCP standards.
3. Demonstrates the ability to demonstrate proper sanitation practices when cleaning equipment and areas.
4. Demonstrates the ability to produce forecasted and special tally items accurately, no over or under producing.
5. Demonstrates the ability to serve patient foods accurately and safely according to standards.
6. Demonstrates the ability to accurately provide patient floor stocking and record keeping to the par levels established.
7. Be at work and be on time.
8. Follow company policies, procedures and directives.
9. Interact in a positive and constructive manner.
10. Prioritize and multitask.
Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Qualifications/Work Experience:
- Previous restaurant or acute care hospital foodservice experience
- Ability to perform and understand entry level tasks of at least three areas within foodservice
Education/Licensure/Certification:
- High School diploma or GED preferred
