We are looking for someone to help carry out what we do best -- make amazing fried chicken, served in a fast-paced, community driven environment.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook/Food Prep to join our team and prepare high-quality dishes for our guests. The candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking, and presenting dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing and chopping ingredients
Cook and present dishes according to menu specifications, including following recipes and presentation standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes and utensils and maintaining inventory levels
Communicate effectively with other team members, including the kitchen staff and management
Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of kitchen experience
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Job Requirements:
Must be able to stand, walk and stay on his/her feet for prolonged periods of time
Lift up to 75 pounds at a given time
Be able to perform the repetitive task of line cooking which requires repetitive motion with a spatula, knife, and hand-motion for mixing on an on-going basis
Pay:
$16.00 - $20 Per Hour Tips
