Environmental Data Analyst
Introduction:
The Environmental Data Analyst will play a crucial role in updating databases, tracking waste profiles, ensuring regulatory compliance, and running reports efficiently. Attention to detail is a key requirement for this position, and candidates will need to demonstrate their data entry and typing skills during the application process.
**Attention to detail is a must for this role. All submissions must include a basic typing/data entry test result for review
Responsibilities:
- Update database and share site with data for all new, recertified, or amended profiles.
- Update share site with current approvals and Notification of Treatment Standards forms.
- Conduct technical regulatory review of waste profile data for compliance with DOT, RCRA, Land Ban, and other regulations.
- Track and run reports using advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Validate shipment data for waste tracking purposes.
Requirements:
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements:
- RCRA and DOT Regulatory compliance or Quality or Government Regulation experience preferred.
- Manifesting and profiling hazardous and non-hazardous waste experience preferred.
- Pre-assignment and/or pre-hire customer-specific drug and/or alcohol testing may be required by certain customer-contract requirements.
Other Skills:
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel or similar database software.
- Knowledge of word processors, like Microsoft Word.
- Excellent typing and transcription skills, including typing at fast speeds.
- Ability to research and collect data.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Time management and organization.
- Multi-tasking.
Education and Experience:
Education: B.S. Degree is required.
