The educational mission is deeply rooted in the 200-year tradition of the Society of the Sacred Heart, focusing on the total development of each child: spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical.

This role serves as a non-evaluative partner to faculty, providing personalized support to improve teacher practice and student learning. • Learning Management System (LMS) Leadership: Support the integration and effective use of LMS platforms (Blackbaud, Google Classroom, Seesaw), including training and onboarding for students, faculty, and families, as well as app integrations.
  • Direct Student Engagement: Partner with teachers and students to deliver interdisciplinary STEAM learning experiences, including co-designing and facilitating lessons that integrate engineering design, creative problem-solving, and hands-on robotics, while promoting digital citizenship and responsible technology use.
  • Technology & Device Support: Provide implementation and troubleshooting support for SK–8 devices (Chromebooks and iPads) and curriculum-aligned applications (e.g., Amplify, IXL, Discovery Education), ensuring reliable classroom integration.
  • Liaison & Vision: Serve as the primary liaison between faculty and the technology department and collaborate with leadership to advance the school’s educational technology vision.

Instructional Coaching & Professional Development

  • Transformational Coaching: Engage teachers in reflection and refinement of teaching practices through in-depth conversations, observing instructional practices, and examining student work and data.
  • Modeling and Co-Teaching: Demonstrate best practice instruction by modeling lessons, co-planning curricula, and co-teaching lessons with faculty.
  • Professional Learning Communities (PLCs): Promote teacher leadership by facilitating PLCs and leading teams in assessing and aligning curriculum vertically.
  • Differentiated Support: Provide ongoing individual and group professional learning that expands teachers’ understanding of classroom management, content expertise, and assessment.

Administrative & Academic Support

  • Testing Support: Assist with testing and use data analysis to help teachers plan for instruction.
  • New Faculty Onboarding: Meet regularly with teachers new to the school to ensure embedded support of the academic program and related tools.
