Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Visual Arts Educator to join our faculty as a Part-Time Art Instructor. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching studio art and working with adolescents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach visual arts successfully at introductory and advanced/AP levels.
- Engage students in various visual arts media, such as drawing, painting, print-making, collage, and/or other 2-D forms.
- Maintain accurate student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
- Evaluate student work and provide meaningful feedback to guide learning/growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field and prior experience teaching studio art and/or working with adolescents.
- Prior experience working in an independent/Catholic school environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion.
- Demonstrated ability to teach adolescents with joy and verve.
