What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant Room Assistant Teacher position at Sacred Heart Early Learning Center?
Essential Duties
- Work in a room with children aged 6 weeks up to 18 months
- Maintain confidentiality for children, families, staff, and program.
- Promote nurturing and bonding relationships with children.
- Assist head teacher with daily classroom routine such as bottle feeding and diapering
- Communicate with parents on a regular basis through multiple avenues
- Participate in professional development opportunities.
- Team player
- Daily bending, stooping, & lifting
- Light daily cleaning
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Associate degree preferred but not required
- CPR/1st Aid trained if you do not have, willing to obtain
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
