We are seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our team.
Position Overview
The Maintenance Assistant primarily supports grounds upkeep and assists the Maintenance Department with daily building and facility tasks. This role helps ensure our facility is clean, safe, and functioning smoothly for residents, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform grounds maintenance such as mowing, trimming, and general outdoor upkeep
- Assist Maintenance staff with routine tasks and minor repairs
- Support basic preventative maintenance activities
- Assist with general facility upkeep
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition
- Follow safety procedures and report concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic maintenance experience helpful
- Able to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Good communication and time‑management skills
