Position Overview
We are currently hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) who are passionate about providing quality long-term care. As a nurse at Sacred Heart Care Center, you will play a vital role in delivering and supervising care, ensuring resident dignity, and promoting a collaborative and respectful team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with resident care plans and physician orders
- Accurately administer and document medications and treatments, including PRNs
- Supervise and evaluate care provided by Nursing Assistants (NARs)
- Complete assessments: skin, pain, vital signs, transfers, etc.
- Document resident status, care provided, and incidents clearly and accurately
- Participate in shift reports, audits, care planning, and quality improvement projects
- Maintain proper infection control and safety protocols
- Respond to call lights, emergencies, and ensure resident needs are met promptly
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and physicians
- Ensure medication storage, narcotic counts, and med cart organization follow policy
- Monitor and adjust staffing, assist across units as needed
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the State of Minnesota
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
- Dependability, punctuality, and a commitment to compassionate care
- Ability to supervise and mentor staff
- Experience in long-term care preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Pay: $36.50 - $41.44 per hour
