Sacred Circle Healthcare is seeking a full-time Grants Implementation Coordinator 

Job Summary

The Grant Implementation Coordinator (GIC) plays a critical role in assisting Sacred Circle Healthcare (SCHC) in achieving its grants related to community health goals. The GIC with the oversight of the Grants Manager for the GIC implements the execution of SCHC grant initiatives. This position requires a candidate that has experience in grant activities and ensures grants remain on schedule; deliverables and reporting requirements are met, and program outcomes are properly documented. The GIC also plans and manages grant organizational events, outreach activities, and grants related community engagement efforts that align with the organization’s mission and strategic priorities. SCHC is an incredibly unique organization owned by the Confederated Tribes of the Goshute Reservation.

The successful candidate:

  • Identifies grant funding opportunities and shares potential opportunities with the Grants Development Specialist and Grants Manager. 

  • Collaborates with the Grants Manager to support health promotion and disease prevention goals, objectives, and grant-funded initiatives. 

  • Assists with the development and maintenance of the annual grants calendar, grant timelines, and required deliverables. 

  • Coordinates and supports grant activities, ensuring tasks, documentation, and reporting requirements are completed accurately and timely. 

  • Under the direction of the Grants Manager works with grants budgets and the financial department. 

  • Participates in internal meetings, department planning sessions, grant preparation meetings, and organizational workgroups as assigned. 

  • Supports grant compliance activities, including maintaining required records and completing mandatory grant-related tasks. 

  • Assists in the planning, coordination, and implementation of health promotion, disease prevention, and grant-related outreach events. 

  • Coordinates event logistics, including preparation of materials, set-up and clean-up, registration, signage, patient check-in within the electronic health record when required, and collection of pre- and post-program data. 

  • Collaborates with SCHC departments, including marketing and social media teams, to promote programs, events, and community health information. 

  • Provides educational resources and information to patients, community members, and partner organizations. 

  • Facilitates or supports educational sessions and activities designed to increase health knowledge and promote healthy lifestyle behaviors. 

  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with patients, employees, community members, and external partners. 

  • Maintains regular communication and responds promptly to department needs, meeting invitations, and event assignments. 

  • Complies with all SCHC policies, procedures, regulations, Code of Conduct, and organizational values. 

  • Completes required agency communications and training in a timely manner. 

  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities assigned to support departmental and organizational goals. 



Minimum Requirements:

EDUCATION: 

Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Community Health, Communications, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or a related field required; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

EXPERIENCE: 

Minimum SCHC experience 2 years of experience in grant administration coordination, community outreach, event planning, healthcare, public health, tribal health, nonprofit services, or related fields.

Experience coordinating projects, tracking timelines, managing multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines.

Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel between SCHC locations and community events as required. 

Ability to work evenings and weekends to support outreach activities, educational sessions, and community events.

Ability to lift and transport event materials and supplies (up to 25 pounds) as needed. 

 

Preferred Requirements:

EDUCATION: 


EXPERIENCE: 

Experience collecting program data, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with reports and compliance requirements preferred. 

Experience working with American Indian/Alaskan Native communities, Tribal Organizations, or culturally diverse populations preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:   

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with peers, community members, partner organizations, and internal departments. 

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple projects. 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, databases, and virtual meeting platforms. 

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement in handling sensitive information.
