Graphic Designer

Job Summary: 

The Sacramento Kings are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our award-winning creative team. This role is ideal for a strong, design-forward creative with excellent craft, growing conceptual skills, and a passion for sports and culture-driven storytelling. 

You’ll report to the Art Director and support the creation of bold, engaging creative across platforms that connects with fans and represents the Kings brand with pride. This is a hands-on role focused on execution, collaboration, and continued creative growth within a fast-paced, high-performing team. 

Key Responsibility Areas: 

• Partner with the Art Director and creative team to execute campaigns, initiatives, and day-to-day creative needs. 

• Design and deliver compelling creative across digital, social, broadcast, print, in-arena, and emerging platforms. 

• Execute designs with a high level of craft while maintaining brand consistency and visual quality. 

• Support projects from concept through final delivery, incorporating feedback and revisions efficiently. 

• Translate brand guidelines and campaign direction into strong visual executions. 

• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, brand, content, and partnerships teams. 

• Contribute ideas, creative solutions, and design support to elevate the overall work of the team. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design (or equivalent professional experience). 

• 2–4 years of professional graphic design experience with a strong portfolio. Sports, entertainment, or agency experience is a plus. 

• Solid design fundamentals with a strong eye for typography, composition, layout, and visual storytelling. 

• Ability to execute creative concepts while managing multiple projects and deadlines. 

• Working knowledge of branding systems and applying visual standards across platforms. 

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). 

• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 

• Positive, team-oriented mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow creatively. 

• Knowledge of NBA basketball and the Sacramento Kings’ brand is a plus. 

Work Environment & Location: 

• Full-time, on-site position based in Sacramento, CA. 

• Requires 5 days per week in the office; no hybrid or remote options available. 

• Candidates must be willing to relocate and work full-time in Sacramento, CA. 

Compensation & Perks: 

• Base Salary Range: $50,000 – $60,000
