Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Dietitian, where your expertise will make a profound difference in patient care and nutritional wellness. This is a well established Bariatric Surgery and Obesity Medicine practice with a large volume of both new and established patients. In this vital role, you will assess individual nutritional needs, develop personalized care plans, and provide expert guidance to promote optimal health outcomes. This is a private-practice, office based setting where you will have the ability to establish patient relationships and make meaningful contributions to the health of our patients.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including nutritional analysis and diagnostic evaluations to identify specific dietary requirements.
- Guide patients thru post-operative nutritional progression
- Provide nutrition counseling and motivational interviewing to empower patients in making sustainable lifestyle changes.
- Collaborate closely with the medical director on every patient case
Qualifications
- Valid registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Nutritionist (RN) with relevant licensing requirements.
- Proven experience in clinical nutrition, including working with individuals with specific dietary needs such as tube feeding or medical nutrition therapy (MNT).
- Strong background in physiology, chronic disease management, weight loss programs, and geriatrics.
- Demonstrated proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient data management.
- Supervisory experience leading dietary or healthcare teams is highly desirable.
- Excellent client communication skills coupled with the ability to motivate patients through motivational interviewing techniques.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes, nutritional analysis tools, and medical nutrition support strategies.
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
