As a Personal Care Aide your job will mainly consist of following the client's care plan and:
- Basic personal care and grooming.
- Transfer assistance.
- Assistance with toileting, showering, and other hygiene measures.
- Assistance with nutrition, hydration, and meal preparation.
- Light housekeeping.
- Companionship
Starting pay: $18-20/hr (depending on experience) paid weekly.
Educational requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, GED.
Physical requirements for this position:
- Ability to lift and carry up to and including 50lbs.
- Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to bend over.
- Ability to squat.
- Ability to use hands/fingers for typing.
- Ability to climb stairs.
Other necessities include:
- A valid driver’s license.
- A reliable insured vehicle (You will be required to drive to client houses)
- Reliable phone and email.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
A criminal background check will be processed for both the state of ME and NH.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- No weekends
Experience is preferred, but paid training will be given.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
