The Technical Leadership Program (TLP) is a structured, 24‑month rotational development program designed to prepare high‑potential individuals for future leadership roles within Sales, Engineering, or Research & Development.
Participants will gain hands‑on experience across our manufacturing operations, starting on the production floor and progressing through key functional areas before completing a final rotation aligned with their long‑term career interests.
This program is Sheboygan‑based and includes exposure to global operations through special projects and short‑term assignments at other company locations.
Program Structure
Duration: Approximately 24 months
Rotations:
Initial rotation in Production/Manufacturing Operations
Subsequent rotations across core functions (e.g., Quality, Process Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales Support, R&D, or Technical Services)
Final rotation aligned to the participant’s target function (Sales, Engineering, or R&D)
Project Work: Cross‑functional and global projects, including opportunities in Ohio, Mexico, the UK, and potentially India
Mentorship & Development:
Dedicated mentors and technical leaders
Leadership development, project ownership, and exposure to senior leadership
Key Responsibilities
Learn and apply manufacturing, technical, and business fundamentals across multiple functional areas
Actively participate in production floor activities to build a strong understanding of processes, safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Support and lead technical and operational projects during each rotation
Analyze data, solve problems, and recommend improvements related to efficiency, quality, cost, or customer satisfaction
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across manufacturing, engineering, sales, and R&D
Participate in special projects or short‑term assignments at domestic and international locations
Demonstrate leadership behaviors, accountability, and a strong commitment to learning

Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline
Strong interest in a long‑term career in Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, or R&D
Willingness to start the program in a production/manufacturing environment
Ability to work from the Sheboygan, WI location
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
Preferred
Internship or co‑op experience in manufacturing, technical sales, or R&D
Demonstrated leadership experience (student organizations, team projects, military, or early career roles)
Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills
Curiosity, adaptability, and comfort working in hands‑on operational environments
