Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Community Outreach Manager to join
our team. In this role, you will be the bridge between Sachiyo Ito & Company and local
schools and community centers, developing partnerships and coordinating impactful
workshops that serve diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Development: Identify, connect with, and build lasting relationships
with schools, community centers, libraries, and other educational organizations
Workshop Coordination: Schedule, plan, and manage logistics for workshops
at partner locations, ensuring seamless execution from initial contact to post-
event follow-up
Community Engagement: Represent Sachiyo Ito & Company at community
events, meetings, and networking opportunities to expand our reach and impact
Outreach Strategy: Develop and implement strategic outreach plans to connect
with underserved communities and maximize program accessibility
Communication Management: Maintain regular contact with partner
organizations, responding promptly to inquiries and providing excellent customer
service
Program Promotion: Create compelling outreach materials and presentations to
showcase our workshop offerings to potential partners
Event Logistics: Coordinate schedules, materials, facilitators, and resources
needed for successful workshop delivery
Reporting & Analysis: Track outreach metrics, maintain databases of contacts
and partnerships, and provide regular reports on program reach and impact
Collaboration: Work closely with workshop facilitators and internal team
members to ensure programs meet community needs
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Education, Nonprofit Management, or
related field (or equivalent experience)
2 years of experience in community outreach, education programming, or
nonprofit work
Proven track record of building and maintaining professional relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously
Experience coordinating events or educational programs
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database management tools
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel
Preferred:
Experience working with schools, community centers, or educational institutions
Knowledge of local community organizations and resources
Bilingual or multilingual abilities
Experience with CRM systems and outreach tracking tools
Background in workshop facilitation or adult education
Familiarity with grant writing and program development
