Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and providing excellent service to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste regularly.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
• Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all necessary items are cleaned and ready for service.
• Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes during peak service times.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food service operations, including food preparation and handling techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to cooking, cleaning, and hospitality services.
