What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Course Maintenance position at Sacconnesset Golf Club?
Sacconnesset Golf Club is seeking to fill seasonal (April to December) and summer seasonal (May/June to August), full and part time positions within our Golf Course Maintenance department. Applicants can expect to work on a team oriented staff and we pride ourselves in training and staff development.
No prior golf course experience is necessary, just an open mind, desire to learn, positive attitude, be consistently reliable and ability to work well with others.
Responsibilities for these positions will include, but are not be limited to:
- mowing of all golf course surfaces
- bunker maintenance
- leaf and debris cleanup
- participation in aerification, verticutting, and other golf course cultural practices
- basic landscape maintenance
- divot repair
- sod prep and installation
- assist with set up of the golf course for daily play
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Previous experience an asset
- Great work ethic
- Flexible schedule
