Retail Store Manager Bedford Ace

This is a hands-on leadership position. We're looking for someone who leads by example, isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed, and enjoys working alongside their team.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of employees.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and create an exceptional shopping experience.
- Hire, train, coach, and evaluate team members.
- Schedule employees and manage daily store operations.
- Maintain inventory, merchandising, and store appearance.
- Monitor sales, expenses, and store performance.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively.
- Ensure company policies and safety procedures are followed.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.
- Manage and maintain the rental dept withing the store
- Learn and Grow in the Ace recommended ways of operation
Qualifications
- Previous retail management experience is required.
- Excellent leadership and people skills.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to motivate and develop employees.
- Comfortable making decisions and taking ownership.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and experience with retail point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
- Hardware experience or knowledge in plumbing, electrical, paint, and rental items
Schedule
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
